For a show called Oneliners we were commissioned by the Graphic Design Festival Breda to create a typographic piece in a public area, regarding any subject we chose to consider. When the local newspaper reported about a flood of noise complaints, we got our lead. People living nearby the building site of the new train station complained the noise was too much to handle.
We made a 2×5 meters in size object, using the words Kedeng Kedeng out of local singer -and nationally famous- Guus Meeuwis’ hit record. Referring to the noise as well as a cheeky homage to our much beloved Dutch singer.
